“Bill Cunningham: Facades”

In 1968 New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham started a project he named "Facades".  He shopped many different New York City thrift stores and street fairs for elaborate vintage attire and scouted the city for the perfect backdrops. After 8 years he finished this project and now 40 years later you can see all 88 original prints at the New York Historical Society Museum & Library. This exhibit opens March 14th and is running until June 15th. You can get more info here: https://www.nyhistory.org/node/104573.
