Bleached Denim DIY

photo-26-1
Keeping in the spirit of Coachella and all of the amazing upcoming music festivals we wanted to share with our fans a diy that is easy and festival inspired, so this week's DIY: bleached denim shorts.  All you will need is a pair of old denim shorts, liquid bleach, gloves, and a bucket. With gloves on mix 2 parts water and 1 part liquid bleach. Keep in mind the bleach does bleed so place the shorts in liquid about 2 inches below the mark where you want the bleach line to start.  Let them sit in the solution for about 30 minutes. Remove from bucket and let the shorts dry, you can also put in your dryer after they have dried for a little bit. Cut your shorts into whatever shape you like and then wash alone. From there you can also add your own designs or dye with other colors. We like the idea of adding cool designs with a sharpie. So try it out and let us know how it worked for you!
